As we come to the close of 2025, we’re taking a moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate what has been a truly meaningful year for Caregivers and Parents Engaged.
This year marked something incredibly special for us: the launch of CaPE. What began as an idea rooted in shared experience and mutual support has, in a remarkably short space of time, grown into a thriving and engaged community. Today, CaPE members span multiple countries, cultures, and family situations — united by a common understanding of the realities of caregiving and parenting.
Throughout the year, our blog became a space for connection, honesty, and practical support. Together, we explored budget-friendly family activities, simple rituals that bring calm to busy lives, and thoughtful resets to support wellbeing. We shared community-approved recipes to make everyday life easier and celebrated cultural moments such as Diwali and Hispanic Heritage Month — reminders that caregiving and parenting are deeply enriched by diversity and shared traditions.
Our stories this year weren’t just informative, they were personal. You told us about the emotional load of caregiving, the technology hacks that help simplify daily life, the creativity that turns ordinary moments into lasting memories, and the resilience required to juggle competing priorities with care and compassion. Each post reflected what makes CaPE so powerful: real voices, real experiences, and real support.
What has stood out most is how quickly this community has grown, not just in numbers, but in depth. CaPE has become a place where people feel seen, understood, and supported, regardless of geography or circumstance. It truly has shown us that it takes a village and that village can reach far beyond borders.
As we move through December, we recognise that not everyone celebrates Christmas. Whether this season is festive for you or not, we hope this month offers a chance for rest, reflection, and a gentle wind-down, a moment to acknowledge all you’ve carried this year and to look ahead to the next with intention and hope.
